Becoming a Member

Membership of the APF is open to all national human rights institutions in the Asia Pacific region that have been accredited by the International Coordinating Committee of National Human Rights Institutions (ICC).

Decisions about the admission of new members to the APF are made by the Forum Council.

The Forum Council can also amend the membership category of an existing member, based on the accreditation decisions of the ICC.

Fees

APF members pay an annual fee, which is based on their membership category.

In special circumstances, the Forum Council may allow for payment to be made ‘in kind’, through non-monetary contributions.

The annual fees for membership are:

• Full members – US $3,000

• Associate members – US $1,500
