Candidate Members

Candidate members are national human rights institutions that do not fully comply with the Paris Principles but could do so within a reasonable period of time.

Admission as a Candidate member requires the institution to take active steps to meet the Paris Principles, at which time it can become a Full member of the APF.

Candidate members are entitled to participate in APF programs and activities, however, they are not entitled to vote on Forum Council decisions or nominate a jurist to the Advisory Council of Jurists.

There are currently no Candidate Members.
