Capacity Building
The APF’s capacity-building services include a wide range of institutional strengthening projects that are implemented to assist APF member institutions to strengthen their capacities, to assist prospective institutions to attain full compliance with the Paris Principles, and to assist governments and civil society organisations to establish institutions in compliance with the Paris Principles.
NHRI Development
The APF provides advice to its member institutions and also to government and civil society on the nature and status of national human rights institutions
IDP Project
The APF / Brookings Institution-University of Bern Project on Internal Displacement was established in 2004 to develop the capacity of APF members to promote and protect the human rights of internally displaced persons
