IDP Focal Point Network

The IDP Focal Point Network was established in 2005 following the APF’s regional workshop on National Human Rights Institutions and Internally Displaced Persons.

The network is made up of representatives from those APF member institutions that are working to protect and promote the rights of internally displaced persons. Its aim is to share information and resources between APF members, non government organisations, educational groups, United Nations agencies and other experts in the field.

Network members and other interested groups are invited to submit information and resources to the APF Secretariat, including: legislation, policy documents, reports, education and training materials, newsletters, media reports, and information on monitoring activities in IDP camps and temporary shelters.
