Networks
The APF establishes professional and thematic 'focal point' networks to support Commissioners and staff from APF member institutions to share information and resources, develop co-operative partnerships and establish ‘best practice’ standards.
We have previously coordinated focal point networks on the issues of human trafficking and Internally Displaced Persons.
The APF secretariat currently coordinates the following two networks.
Senior Executive Officers
Encourages senior management of APF members to share information and expertise and to communicate with each other about APF regional projects.
Migrant Workers' Rights Focal Points
Experienced staff from NHRIs are sharing knowledge, expertise and ‘best practice’ approaches to better promote and protect the rights of migrant workers.
