RWI is a leading institution for research, education, and training regarding all aspects of international human rights law

The Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI) is a leading institution for research, education, and training regarding all aspects of international human rights law.

Its objective is to advance knowledge and understanding of international human rights law and to promote respect for and fulfilment of human rights through research, education, and capacity building.

The APF and RWI collaborate on a range of programs, most notably the Regional Training Programme in Human Rights for Representatives from Asia Pacific National Human Rights Institutions, which is held annually in Bangkok.

We also work in partnership with the RWI to deliver other thematic training programs for APF members, including a training course on National Inquiries and a Foundation Course for staff of national human rights institutions.
