The Role of Bahrain's National Institution for Human Rights

Bahrain's National Institution for Human Rights will host a side event as part of the 30th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.

The panel discussion will examine the role of the National Institution for Human Rights in the promotion and protection of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Two senior representatives from the National Institution for Human Rights will lead the panel discussion:

• Mr Abdulla Ahmed Al-Derazi, Vice Chairperson
• Ms Maria Khourey, Head of Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up Committee
