Request for Proposals: Preferred Supplier for Legal Services (2026-27)

APF invites quotations from qualified legal service providers for a Preferred Supplier Agreement (9 Feb 2026-8 Feb 2027) to deliver expert advice supporting APF governance, operations and contracts.

In summary:

This Request for Proposals seeks to identify a preferred supplier for legal services, who can provide timely and high-quality legal support to the APF. The successful supplier will assist with a range of services, including governance and compliance advice, reviewing and drafting contracts and agreements, and employment-related legal matters. Proposals are due by 17:00 (AEST), Tuesday 4 February 2026.

The Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions is seeking a preferred supplier for legal services to support the APF Secretariat in maintaining strong governance, compliance, and operational practice.

Key tasks of the supplier will include:

  • Provide legal advice on APF corporate governance matters, including compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 and other legislation;
  • Provide legal advice on APF template agreements for the engagement of external consultants, and for granting of funds to third parties;
  • Review and provide legal advice on consultancy and employment contracts prior to execution;
  • Other legal services, as required from time to time.

Proposals are due by 17:00 (AEST) on Tuesday 4 February 2026. We welcome proposals from suitably qualified providers and thank you for your interest in supporting the APF’s work; the requested documentation for legal services is attached for your reference.
